Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sawyer to join our team in a dynamic and quality focused environment. The Sawyer will be responsible for operating 3 axis bridge saw and other equipment to cut granite, porcelain, marble, and other materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge saw operation and a strong understanding of warehouse processes.
Duties
- Operate various types of saws and cutting equipment to produce precise cuts on wood and other materials.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment.
- Participate in concrete forming, mixing, and finishing as needed for projects.
- Follow project specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy in cutting materials.
- Keep work area organized and free from hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary.
- Experience with operating forklifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficient in cutting stone and fabrication techniques.
