Central Exteriors, a family-owned home improvement company based in Rockville, MD, has proudly served the Washington DC area since 1956. We're consistently rated as one of the top exterior remodeling companies in the region, and we're looking for an experienced Field Technician to join our growing team.
This is a long-term career opportunity — most of our office team has been with us 10 years, and openings like this don't come around often.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and perform minor repair work on sloped asphalt shingle roofs
- Flat roof evaluation and repair experience is a plus, but not required
- Perform quality assurance checks following roofing and siding projects
- Complete minor carpentry work on fascias, soffits, and rake boards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and follow through on all commitments
- Represent the company professionally and make a strong first impression in customers' home
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of direct roofing experience (shingle installation/repair, flashing repair, pipe collar installation, metal work)
- Strong ladder skills and comfort working at heights
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a company-provided truck to scheduled appointments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High degree of integrity and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable using mobile apps to support day-to-day job tasks
- Must reside near Rockville, MD or be willing to commute regularly
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
