As a Customer Service Advocate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building strong relationships with customers. Operating in a face-to-face retail environment, you will be responsible for delivering a positive and personalized experience to customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting products or services. This position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Understand customer needs and assist them in finding the right products or services.
  • Actively engage customers to promote sales, special offers, and product features.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Process sales transactions including credit card transactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns, aiming for a satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales targets, promotions, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and customer service enhancement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a face-to-face environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS Systems

*Keep in mind, we are hiring for our satellite client in the Bethesda area, not our corporate location*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $650.00 - $850.00 per week
