What are the responsibilities and job description for the Literacy Intervention Paraprofessional position at Central Elementary School?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide literacy and/or dyslexia instruction to elementary school students.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administrators.
- Attend training as required.
- Contract will be prorated based on days worked.
- Position is a one year contract for the 2026-2027 school year only.
Qualifications
- 60 hours of college credit or pass the ParaPro Assessment (given by District upon hire)

Physical requirements*
- Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods of time
- Be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry and squat to assist students as needed
- Light lifting (< 20 lbs.)
