Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
- Assessment: Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student success.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional learning and participate in school initiatives.
- Community Involvement: Foster relationships with the community to enhance educational opportunities for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Must hold or be eligible to hold appropriate NC Licensure from the NC Department of Public Instruction (Birth-Kindergarten or Preschool Add-on Certification Required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching strategies.
