Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and storage conditions in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with patient intake processes, verifying prescriptions, and clarifying medication orders with healthcare providers when necessary
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions regarding medication usage, side effects, and pharmacy procedure
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, inventory logs, and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Certification as a pharmacy technician (or equivalent) as required by local regulations by 30 days
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
