What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Navigator position at Central District Health Department?
The Central Navigator is responsible for using the principles of Collective Impact to work towards achieving long-lasting, meaningful community change and community impact that serves to enhance the well -being of children, youth, and families. This position is responsible for:
· Implementation of a variety of initiatives as prioritized by the Community & Family Partnership.
· Leading and providing program services.
· Building, developing, and managing relationships with community partners.
· Promoting programs and services.
· Delivering accurate and timely reports to partnership and funders.
· Oversight of contracts and grants.
Qualifications
· Associate degree or equivalent or two years’ experience in the field required.
· Experience in social work or associated health field preferred.
