What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Dispatcher position at Central Dispatch?
The current available position is for the overnight shift: 7am - 3pm; Thursday - Monday (40 hours/week)
Minimum requirements: Must be able to pass a drug test. No previous experience required. We will train you. Must be able to follow instructions. Minimum Education requirement high school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older. **** Work in a fast paced, busy alarm monitoring center. Duties include, but not limited to: * Monitoring alarm systems * Call to authorities and/or other persons responsible for alarm response * Flexibility and promptness is a must * Data entry * Filing * Proof reading skills * Must be able to multi-task * Must have excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills * Must be able to work in a fast paced, at times stressful, small office environment * Will be subject to typical office noise such as multiple telephones ringing, computer fan noise, electronic device alerts, background office noise, etc. * Exposure to a variety of light sources, i.e. computer monitors, overhead led lighting and filtered daylight. * Use of mild cleaning chemicals and sanitizing products * Could be exposed to odors associated with working in a small office, i.e. cologne, aftershave, perfumes, essential oils, deodorants, fabric softeners, air fresheners, cleaning products, lotions, etc. * Some light lifting * At times may be required to wear a facemask
