Duties
- Operates laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sorts, washes, and folds linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Ensures the proper handling of products and follows cleaning protocols.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laundry to promote a safe and hygenic working environment.
- Inspect laundered items for stains or damages and reports issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while performing laundry tasks.
- Keeps all work areas clean.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and fold items effectively.
- The ability to do assigned tasks at a fast pace.
- Familiarity with laundry processing and folding techniques is helpful.
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospital, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and to achieve required production levels.
- Good communication skills and the ability to speak and understand English for effective training, safety, and interaction with team members and management.
