Articulated Haul Truck Operator (Off-Road)
Central Contracting is seeking safety-minded operators for an upcoming construction project near Chatham, Virginia. This position will involve operating an off-road articulated haul truck in support of earthmoving and site development operations.
Position Details
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday schedule, expected hours at 50-60 hours per week
- Project expected to begin around July 13
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an articulated haul truck in off-road conditions on steep terrain
- Haul soil, rock, gravel, and other materials throughout the project site
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all site safety requirements and traffic patterns
- Work closely with equipment operators and site supervisors
Qualifications
- Experience operating articulated haul trucks (Volvo or Bell)
- Ability to work safely in varying terrain and weather conditions
- Strong attendance and reliability
