Please note that the starting pay posted is for a nurse that is a new grad with no experience. The pay rate is neogotiable in referrance to years of experience as a nurse and years of experience in relative fields.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on patient care and support. As an CCC Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, ensuring the well-being of patients in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Provide care for patients, including catheterization and assistance with daily living activities.
- Implement acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection.
- Assist in sonography procedures and operate neonatal ventilators when necessary.
- Perform gastric lavage as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license or RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing care.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and critical thinking skills.
- Experience or training in catheterization, acute pain management, and aseptic techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
