We are looking for a candidate that is willing to work part time 1st shift and every other weekend in our housekeeping department.  This would include every Monday and Tuesday.  The hours are generally 7am-3:30pm.  Central Continuing Care is a privately owned facility opened in 1991 by the Payne Family.  We pride ourselves on a family like environment that is welcoming to our residents, staff, families and friends.  For more information regarding this opening please contact Linda McMillian at 336-786-2133 Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor.  

Summary: 

Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and order through tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment while reporting maintenance needs and adhering to health standards.

Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to follow simple directions. Previous experience or on-the-job training.

Essential Functions:

• Clean and mop
• Dust
• Scours and polishes bath and toilet room areas.
• Performs a variety of related duties
• Assists with laundry of Resident’s personal items.

Special Demands:

• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive duties.
• Warmth and consideration for Residents
• Some judgement and initiative in carrying out duties in an orderly fashion.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Use of common house cleaning devices to keep areas under care clean and well serviced.
