Central Connecticut State University, a NCAA Division I Institution and a member of the Northeast Athletic Conference invites applications for a full-time Athletics Campus Event Coordinator in the Department of Athletics. The Athletics Campus Event Coordinator will play a vital role in coordinating athletic events on campus including planning venue selection, setup, technology needs, custodial, police and any other event staffing and resources required.

Position Profile
The Athletics Campus Event Coordinator will be responsible for home athletic events, planning, organizing and acts as a site supervisor for events as assigned, in coordination with other department administrators. The Coordinator will be responsible for acting as the primary liaison between Athletics and Facilities Management in relation to facility use and athletics event coordination. The successful incumbent will meet with internal and external clients to create the event scope including staffing and resource needs, facility use agreements and supporting documentation.
Due to nature of events, flexibility in work schedules is required.

Education:
All Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience and Training:
- Three (3) years of experience in athletic event coordination and/or programming
- Experience in planning and overseeing events to include supervising event staff
- Excellent organizational, written and interpersonal skills
Credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above may be considered.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous athletic events management experience, including supervision of game workers and experience working in collegiate athletics department.
- Demonstrated experience operating under institutional, conference and NCAA rules and policies
