The Lakewood - Trumbull Y is seeking Swim Instructors to help teach and inspire swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This role is responsible for leading swim lessons, providing instruction and motivation, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide swim instruction to participants of varying skill levels following YMCA guidelines.
- Develop lesson plans and progress reports to track participant improvement.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment by following YMCA safety protocols.
- Engage with swimmers and their families, providing encouragement and guidance.
- Monitor pool surroundings and maintain constant awareness of participant safety.
- Be an ambassador for YMCA aquatic programs, helping promote membership and engagement.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
