Central Concrete Products, with locations in Mt. Pleasant, Alma, and Clare, MI, is now hiring CDL Truck Drivers for front-discharge ready mix concrete trucks at all above locations. All work will be performed locally within the Mid-Michigan area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive under the concrete batching plant hopper to receive the concrete mix.
- Drive concrete to a predetermined job.
- Assemble concrete chute.
- Discharge the concrete down the truck's chute as needed by the customer.
- Clean truck after delivery in accordance with company standards.
- Monitor and inspect mechanical operations of the mixer. Report any abnormalities.
- Complete delivery ticket information in a legible and accurate manner.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must have a Class A or Class B CDL, with a clean driving record.
- Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must work well in team environments, with the ability to take instructions from a Supervisor/Dispatcher.
- Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work extended hours.
- Any welding, hydraulic, or mechanical experience is beneficial.

- Hourly wages up to $28.75/hour, based on experience and performance.
