Central Community Services is seeking an exceptional clinician to lead our Community Support Team's activities, provide direct supports, and supervise team staff. Excellent opportunity for full and provisionally licensed counselors.
This team provides services to adults with mental health and substance use disorders in the counties of Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren. Service recipients have significant needs in symptom and crisis management, appropriate housing, independent living skills, social integration, and employment or education.
The Community Support Team consists of the full-time Team Leader, a full-time substance abuse professional, and two-four additional staff. Services are community based. It is anticipated that the Team Leader will divide their week between office and community-based service.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversight of team service delivery.
Participation in agency Management Team functions/meetings.
Completion of assessments and service notes.
Provision of individual therapy to service recipients.
Supervision of team staff to include weekly team meetings to manage service needs and direct staff interventions.
Management of crisis intervention protocols.
Direct support services.
The Community Support Team Leader must possess the following qualifications:
North Carolina counseling licensure: LPA, LCSW, LCSW-A, LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LMFT
At least one year of experience working with adults with mental health disorders.
Commitment to ethical care and best practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong supervisory and time management skills.
