Public Skate Event Supervisor/Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee and coordinate various events from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a knack for budgeting, and exceptional communication abilities. This role requires a proactive approach to event planning, ensuring that every aspect of the event runs smoothly and meets the expectations of clients and guests.

Duties

• Plan, organize, and execute events such as Public skate sessions, Themed Events, Fundraisers, Private Parties, team meetings, and training sessions.
• Lead, and manage employee schedules; reserve and confirm online and phone event inquiries.
• Provide a fun, and friendly customer experience to provide a reason why they would want to come back to our venue.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Market events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement (social media, flyers, word of mouth, etc...).
• Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure a family friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning or management is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Customer first mentality.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• DJ/Music background.
• Food vendors training/experience (preferred)
• Bilingual (Preferred)
• Skating experience (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
