Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is a locally owned organization with an excellent reputation throughout the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. We are constantly growing and now seeking a Full time Office Registered Nurse (RN or LVN) to join our team in our San Luis Obispo location. Not Remote.
The Office Nurse is responsible for ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed efficiently and effectively while working closely with a team. This position is also expected to ensure that patient care and services are delivered appropriately while advising clinical staff in the field as needed.
The regular work schedule is 8 AM-5 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating 1 weekend day every 4 wks. No Night Call
Job Requirements:
- Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Minimum one (1) year professional work experience in nursing
- Valid Driver's License
- Maintain clean driving record and auto insurance coverage
- Reliable vehicle to drive during work hours
- CPR certified (Healthcare Provider)
Knowledge/Abilities:
- Home Health experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient on the computer and with software programs i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, as well as EMR
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and work in a fast-paced work environment with a high attention to detail.
