Massage Therapist

VNA is looking for a Massage Therapist.

Job Summary: Under the direction of VNA Volunteer Coordinator the Massage Therapist will furnish services within the Certified Massage Therapist’s scope of practice to hospice patients. Services to be provided include but are not limited to: plan, organize and provide medically prescribed massage therapy to patients with recommendations as to plan of care, as well as, care plan coordination with primary care physicians or VNA Medical Director, RN case manager and volunteer coordinator.

Rate:

• $100.00 per visit
• $60.00 per hour (administrative work)

Responsibilities

• Assure the provision of quality of care that meets the needs of patients through a consultation with VNA Medical Director and Director of Patient Care Services.
• Consult and coordinate care with VNA medical directors and attending physicians.
• Perform assessments, evaluations and establishes therapeutic goals for patients.
• Appropriately document each patient visit within required timeline

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Must possess current Massage Therapy certification
• Experience working hospice or palliative patients preferred

The compensation range for this role is determined by factors such as location and required skills. The salary range provided reflects the lowest to highest amount we reasonably anticipate paying for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by labor market conditions and various factors, including but not limited to: prevailing minimum wage in the area, relevant education, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and business needs. It is not typical for a new hire to be offered the highest end of the salary range. Pay decisions are based on the unique circumstances of each candidate and position.
