Job Responsibilities

Assists with coordinating and facility set-up for department events; including but not limited to student life events, new student orientation, career fairs, college transfer table talks, employer recruiter visits, retention events, and student wellness events. Performs data reporting and engagement tracking for department. Completes and tracks departmental purchases and assists Executive Director with managing multiple budgets. Maintains accurate and up to date records. Monitors and manages departmental technology to ensure quality and usability. Serves as contact for information and Learning Technology. Collaborates with interdepartmental offices and staff to ensure policy compliance. Supplies information to the general public, CCTC staff & faculty regarding the campus operations. Provides quality customer service to the general public, CCTC staff, faculty & students. Refers prospective students to appropriate Central Carolina staff or faculty for student services. Composes, compiles, & keys student information. Maintains electronic & hard copy data & files as required. Processes incoming communication by mail & telephone. Maintains appropriate work area. Manages departmental file archival plan. Oversees department federal work-student student assistants. Completes recruitment, training, duty assignment, scheduling, training, and time sheet approvals for student workers. Serves on committees as requested. Assist with staff meetings and training presentations. Attends professional development activities, and participates in cross-training activities as assigned.


Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
