- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces for various structures.
- Set up and operate power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and installing concrete forms, rebar, and other materials.
- Perform rebar installation according to blueprints and schematics to reinforce concrete structures securely.
- Conduct welding tasks using various techniques to join metal components for structural integrity.
- Support heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or cranes to facilitate material placement.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of construction plans.
- Carry out demolition, renovation, or restoration work involving masonry, stucco, or framing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling materials like caulking, trim carpentry supplies, or tile.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing, masonry, or welding is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material handling techniques.
- Skills in rebar installation, metal stud framing, flooring installation, or tile laying are advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment may be required depending on project needs.
