Role: Senior General Ledger Accountant

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA — Onsite

Assignment: 12 Months

Start Date: August 17, 2026 - End Date: February 19, 2027

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Range: $49/hr W2

Job Summary

The Senior General Ledger Accountant will manage core financial records and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. This role will prepare complex journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, support audits, and ensure transactions comply with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform recurring accounting close activities accurately and on time.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Partner effectively with internal teams and departments.
• Analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Support process improvement, automation, machine learning, and analytics initiatives.
• Manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
• Perform other accounting and finance projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into improvements.
• Experience working with outsourced providers and external auditors.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• CPA and/or MBA.
• Experience with accounting process improvement and automation.
• Interest or experience in machine learning and financial analytics.

Salary : $45 - $49
