Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Accountant is needed 2 days a week. Will be responsible for managing daily financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include assisting in audits, forecasting financial outcomes, and monitoring budgets to maximize operational efficiency within the company.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Experience with bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, and general ledger management
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools, such as QuickBooks or other ERP systems
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail for identifying discrepancies and producing accurate reports
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA is highly desirable
- Experience in the funeral services or related industry is a plus
