Maintenance Supervisor - Rockwood

Central Bethany, an established and growing real estate development and property management company seeks a skilled and organized Maintenance Supervisor to support the operations of our unique and complex Rockwood site in Gresham. This position works closely with the Facility Manager to help oversee six distinct buildings and shared public spaces, including:

• Commercial-only buildings
• A mixed-use office/retail building
• A market hall with micro-restaurants and upper-level office space
• A newly built apartment building with ground-floor retail
• A public splash pad/fountain and playground
• Shared parking lots and grounds across the sites

This is a hands-on leadership role that provides day-to-day support for the facilities team while helping ensure that maintenance and improvement projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and safely. While not a formal management role, the Maintenance Supervisor will help guide technicians and porters on daily tasks and serve as a key resource for troubleshooting and coordination—allowing the Facility Manager to focus on high-level planning and oversight.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $33.00 - $35.50

Position Status: Full Time

Drivers License Required. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in and ensure construction and maintenance projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards
• Provide day-to-day assistance to the Facility Manager with scheduling, delegation, and staff coordination
• Help ensure maintenance and repair work complies with local building codes and safety standards
• Research and resolve maintenance and facilities issues across multiple buildings
• Act as a professional point of contact for tenants, residents, vendors, and team members
• Required on-call hours and weekend hours during special events

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years property management experiencing working as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Maintenance Technician
• Basic math proficiency required
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Thorough understanding of all maintenance related skills such as HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool operations & maintenance, landscaping, etc.
• Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
