- Assessment, Progress & Achievement – Provide timely assessment and constructive feedback, track student progress and contribute to improving retention and achievement outcomes.
- Student Engagement & Enrichment – Organise extracurricular activities, trips and events to enhance the student experience, while supporting parent engagement through reports and evenings.
- Professional Practice & College Contribution – Participate in CPD, promotional events and college activities, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and institutional standards.
- Qualifications & A Level Teaching Expertise – Degree in a relevant subject with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed), supported by current experience teaching A Level students in a Sixth Form or FE setting.
- Teaching Excellence & Learner Outcomes – Demonstrable success delivering high‑quality teaching, creating outstanding learning experiences and achieving strong student progress, retention and attainment.
- Curriculum Knowledge & Innovative Practice – Up‑to‑date subject and syllabus knowledge, with effective use of ILT to enhance teaching, alongside a proactive approach to curriculum development and improvement.
- Communication, Teamwork & Professional Relationships – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and stakeholders while contributing positively to team objectives.
