Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and OpenTable reservations with precision
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
- Support team members in various restaurant operations including hosting, food prep, or night club duties as needed
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Clover, Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in upselling, sales techniques, or OpenTable reservations management is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy are essential
- Prior experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bussing enhances your candidacy
