We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead human resources for a senior living community of 275 employees. This role partners closely with leadership to drive workforce stability, play a key role in retention, and foster a strong, engaged culture.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Wage: $115,000-$130,000 annually
Responsibilities:
- Lead employee relations, including investigations and performance management
- Drive retention strategies and monitor turnover and staffing metrics
- Oversee employee training and development programs, including onboarding and leadership support
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations, including collaboration with Accounting on payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance.
- Provide strategic oversight of recruiting and employee experience initiatives
- 7 years of HR experience, including leadership
- Long-term care, senior living, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Strong employee relations and compliance background
- Demonstrated success in improving employee retention
- Strong technology skills (HRIS experience required) and highly organized
- Data-driven with the ability to partner effectively with leadership
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP preferred (SPHR/PHR also considered)
