Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a secondary science, math, or history teacher at Central Baptist School, located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans using Abeka curriculum, teaching core subjects to students, and assessing their academic progress. The teacher will also engage in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and school administrators to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and the ability to develop comprehensive and effective educational materials
- Strong knowledge and experience in science and high school math education and teaching practices
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Experience in Training and mentoring students in both academic and character development
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
- Prior teaching experience is an advantage
