EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Two years’ branch management experience in a financial institution
- Proven successful sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Proven strength in leadership

- Supervisory duties to include interviewing and selection, delegating, monitoring work flow, ensuring quality control, monitoring and tracking employee performance,
- Coaches and develops team members in sales and integration, manages on boarding and the relationship banking process, ensures high level of customer service including a shop score of 90% or better per quarter.
- Handles customer inquiries and complaints, resolves issues and maintains good customer relations.
- Develops and manages the branch loan portfolio within the established lending policies of the bank in a manner that will limit losses and exceptions, and provide the bank maximum profitability. Proficient in loan systems and able to perform all lending functions.
- Develops a business plan reflecting strategies to ensure reasonable growth, profitability, and market share. Manages ratio of non-interest income to non-interest expense to meet banking center’s goal.
- Meets established goals by making business development calls and through referring new business relations to other lines of business through in-branch efforts to deepen and create new opportunities.
- Reviews annual budget projections for the department, reviews monthly and quarterly results, researches variances in assets, liabilities, non-interest income, non-interest expense, maintains fixed assets, approves supply requisitions and invoices for payment. Investigates and recommends alternatives to reduce expenses and maximize banking center profitability.
- Performs or manages compliance, security, and procedural audits according to established time frames to maintain adequate internal controls and to protect the banking center.
- Ensures the banking center is adequately staffed in accordance with the bank staffing model and in compliance with bank policies. Must be aware and in full compliance of all local, state and federal laws.
- Ensures the banking center is opened and closed in a timely and secure manner by authorized personnel.
- Prepares or oversees the scheduling of the banking center’s employees. Proficient in using the time keeping system, employee self-service, and the performance appraisal system.
- Approves checks in excess of staff’s limits per bank policy. Approves, declines, or conditions items for deposit per Regulation CC. Ensures banking center has adequate coverage for approvals at all times.
- Resolves staff outages through research and documentation to include: counting cash, auditing frontline system, verifying encoding of cash tickets, completing a monthly outage report, interviewing customers and teaming with Security Officer when theft is suspected.
- Collects cash items, chargebacks, and past due loans. Reports collections efforts to appropriate person.
- Performs Personal Banker or frontline duties as needed.
