What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Operations Specialist position at Central Bancompany?
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for organizing all the support systems necessary for the smooth operation of the marketing department including ProsperU. In addition to operational responsibilities, this person will provide significant back-up to the entire marketing team on a variety of tasks.
DUTIES, SCOPE, RESPONSIBLIITIES & AUTHORITY:
Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
Overall office management including administrative duties such as purchasing, filing, billing, stock orders and office equipment and overall maintenance.
Maintains inventories of all marketing supplies including office, promotional and event supplies.
Database management for tracking of marketing project costs as well as ProsperU class data and one-on-one data. Ability not only to accurately input data but also run appropriate reports.
Coordination of bank donation and sponsorship requests.
Preparation and organization of events including ordering of supplies, set-ups, hosting and post-event reporting.
Organization of mailing materials and tasks related to direct mail programs, including work with large data sets.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
While this position has no management responsibilities, they will work often with outside vendors.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or public relations is preferred but not required.
Experience in the full suite of Microsoft products is essential, particularly with Excel and Access. Extensive work with databases and/or spreadsheets is appropriate.
A strong self-starter who is a dedicated team player and who is creative and able to work well with all types of people is essential.
