What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Clerk position at Central Bancompany?

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Verifying payee name and customer signatures in an automated system.
- Reviewing checks and other transactions as assigned in an automated system.
- Following specific, written procedures to post transactions to customer accounts.
- Contacting customers to verify questionable transactions.
This is an entry level position in Deposit Services. You will work independently, in a quiet office setting, with a casual dress code.
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes and a desire to learn bank operations.
Preferred skills are:
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy
Must be punctual, organized, and have excellent time-management skills
