Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the organization is in compliance with FSMS & QMS standards. Auditing areas to conform or correct company policies and processes as well as performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
- Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
- Ensuring that standards and food regulations are observed.
- Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
- Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
- Making recommendations for improvement.
- Training suggestions based on non-conformances.
- Completion of internal audits.
- Address non-conformities from internal, external audits and customer/vendor issues and RMA’s.
- Ensure that organizational systems and training are in place.
- Ensure testing tools are calibrated yearly
- Conduct monthly/quarterly inspections of eye wash, first aid and AED
- Completing customer/vendor questionnaires and letters of guarantee
- Ensure that documentation and design controls are appropriate for this organization.
- Follow-up on and close pending Preventative and Corrective Action requests.
- Assist management team and provide support, as necessary.
- Assist quality control assistant with testing and documentation.
- Perform other related duties as required or needed.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
