Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the organization is in compliance with FSMS & QMS standards. Auditing areas to conform or correct company policies and processes as well as performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
  • Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
  • Ensuring that standards and food regulations are observed.
  • Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
  • Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Training suggestions based on non-conformances.
  • Completion of internal audits.
  • Address non-conformities from internal, external audits and customer/vendor issues and RMA’s.
  • Ensure that organizational systems and training are in place.
  • Ensure testing tools are calibrated yearly
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly inspections of eye wash, first aid and AED
  • Completing customer/vendor questionnaires and letters of guarantee
  • Ensure that documentation and design controls are appropriate for this organization.
  • Follow-up on and close pending Preventative and Corrective Action requests.
  • Assist management team and provide support, as necessary.
  • Assist quality control assistant with testing and documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as required or needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
