Clinical Psychologist / Licensed Psychological Examiner–Independent (Psychological Assessment Focus)

Central Arkansas Testing & Therapy Center is seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), a psychologist eligible for Arkansas licensure with interest, training, or experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, or an exceptionally qualified Arkansas Licensed Psychological Examiner–Independent (LPE-I) clinician with strong psychological assessment experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations across the lifespan.
  • Conduct cognitive and neuropsychological evaluations consistent with the clinician's education, training, competence, and scope of practice.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and integrate standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessment measures.
  • Prepare comprehensive, well-written diagnostic reports with evidence-based recommendations.
  • Provide diagnostic feedback and treatment recommendations to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, schools, attorneys, healthcare providers, and community professionals as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards.
  • Participate in the continued development and expansion of specialty assessment services.
  • Consult with referral sources regarding diagnostic questions, recommendations, and appropriate evaluation planning.

Compensation & Benefits

  • W-2 employee position
  • Highly competitive, transparent, tiered percentage-based compensation structure with differentiated rates for intakes, psychological testing, report writing, and therapy services based on the complexity and clinical value of each service provided.
  • Expected first-year earnings of $90,000 , with significant growth potential based on productivity and referral volume

Qualifications Required for Psychologist Applicants

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • Licensed psychologist or license eligible in Arkansas
  • Training and experience in psychological assessment
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based clinical practice
  • Strong diagnostic, report writing, and communication skills

Preferred

  • Internship, postdoctoral training, or specialized experience in neuropsychological assessment
  • Experience evaluating ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, memory disorders, traumatic brain injury, dementia, or other cognitive conditions
  • Interest in helping expand specialty assessment services
  • Board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology is welcomed but not required

Alternative Qualifications

Exceptionally qualified Arkansas Licensed Psychological Examiner–Independent (LPE-I) clinicians will also be considered. Candidates should possess substantial psychological assessment experience, strong diagnostic skills, and demonstrated competency in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations consistent with their education, training, licensure, and legal scope of practice. For LPE-I applicants, the role will focus on psychological assessment services within their authorized scope of practice and areas of demonstrated competency; advanced neuropsychological evaluations, forensic evaluations, or other specialized assessment services outside the clinician's training and scope of practice will not be required.
