Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver who is comfortable and confident driving large trucks with our dumpsters to their job sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver products to designated locations.
Duties
- Safely operate a truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- 21 years or older, for insurance purposes
- Experience with large equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is desirable.
- Familiarity with courier services and logistics operations is an advantage.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
