Commercial Plumbing Quotations Coordinator

Central Arizona Supply is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Plumbing Quotations Coordinator to join our team. This position will be the key driver in preparing accurate project quotations, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards. We are seeking someone who can do more than build quotes: thinking commercially, identify opportunities, and contribute to winning work.

Supporting multiple branch locations, this position will complete plumbing fixtures, equipment, and drainage material lists from: schedules, specifications and other contractor provided documents. Create and manage quotations, working closely with internal and external customers to ensure accurate and timely project execution. Use product knowledge to match customer specifications and drawings that contribute to project success.

Prior expertise will support the successful bidding and execution of projects across various construction environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply technical knowledge and negotiation skills to deliver competitive solutions that meet project goals and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Consistent communication with members of Inventory Management, Inside and Outside Sales teams.
• Maintain clear communication with plumbing contractors regarding project budget and material requirements.
• Obtain special project pricing documents from vendors, sales representatives and product manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and
• Answer technical questions about all the services provided.
• Provide job-specific pricing to customers in an accurate and reliable manner so the customers can bid on commercial and multi-family projects
• Track wins and losses for quoted projects.

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in plumbing sales or a related field.
• 2 years estimating or commercial quotations experience.
• Familiarity with project specifications.
• Experience working with specbooks and vendors/manufacturers’ representatives.
• Experience in working occasionally in high pressure situations with effective time management.
• General knowledge of plumbing products and the industry.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with vendors, clients, contractors, and internal teams on complex projects.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes quickly.
• Critical thinking, utilizing individual and team-based problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and other PC applications.
• Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills.
