What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Perform high-quality brake, steering, suspension, and advanced wheel alignment repairs.
- Diagnose and repair cooling-system concerns, tune-ups, belts, hoses, and fluid-exchange services.
- Complete thorough scheduled maintenance and digital multipoint inspections to identify worn or unsafe components.
- Safely diagnose common mechanical and drivability concerns using scan tools and digital shop software.
- Document inspection findings accurately and communicate additional repair needs clearly to the service advisors.
- Perform thorough road tests and final quality checks, supporting General Service and developing technicians when needed.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Professional automotive repair experience at a proven B-Level or equivalent skill level in a commercial shop.
- Capability: Ability to independently perform brakes, suspension, steering, alignments, and routine mechanical repairs from start to finish.
- Tools: Complete set of professional automotive hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment appropriate for the position.
- Schedule Flexibility: Mandatory availability to work a 5-day schedule of 10-hour shifts, including rotating Sundays.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required to safely road-test customer vehicles.
- Mindset: Highly dependable team-player with strong productivity, solid workmanship, and a strict attention to shop safety.
