  • Develop fundraising-related content with communications staff for newsletters, social media, digital campaigns, and the website.
  • Ensure that messaging reflects CARECEN’s mission and values.
  • Gather stories, quotes, and photos from programs to demonstrate the impact of legal and support services.

Events & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute CARECEN’s annual fundraising event(s), including logistics, sponsorships, and outreach.
  • Coordinate seasonal fundraising campaigns (Giving Tuesday, year-end appeals, spring/summer campaigns).
  • Support community and partner events that strengthen visibility and donor relationships.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with program directors to understand needs, identify funding gaps, and articulate program impact.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team on grant budgets and financial reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development Committee of the Board.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ability to work well across a diverse team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or other relevant field, or relevant experience in lieu of degree
