Join Special School District (SSD) as an Assistant Manager in Facilities, a leadership role that helps keep our schools and facilities safe, functional, and ready to support students and staff every day. Working alongside the Facilities Manager, you will help lead a skilled maintenance team, coordinate daily operations, and solve the challenges that come with caring for buildings used by thousands of students, employees, and visitors. Your ability to balance priorities, support your team, and keep projects moving will help ensure District facilities remain welcoming, dependable, and well-maintained. The Assistant Manager works at our Distribution Center at 700 Fee Fee Rd, Maryland Heights, MO, 63043, Monday through Friday. Nights and weekends are occasionally required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in building maintenance required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Awareness training required
- Forklift certification required
- Missouri Class E driver’s license required
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction or General Industry Training Card or certificate required
