Summary

Join CentraCare as an Ophthalmologist with the CentraCare-Willmar Eye Clinic in beautiful Southwest Minnesota. This established ophthalmology practice offers cataract surgery and the opportunity to perform additional procedures based on your interests, supported by a collaborative team of optometrists, experienced optometry assistants, and skilled technicians. Located near the surgery center with an onsite retail optical store and up-to-date clinical equipment, the clinic provides a comprehensive, patient-centered environment within a financially sound, integrated healthcare system, with potential outreach opportunities across the region.

Pay and Benefits

• Salary range: $425,000 - $610,000 per year

  • Pay may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, knowledge, location, and internal equity

  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

  • May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based (RVU) compensation.

Qualifications

Required:

• BE/BC in Ophthalmology

• Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure

Department Information

The CentraCare – Willmar Eye Clinic serves as a regional hub for comprehensive eye care in Southwest Minnesota. Providers practice in close proximity to the outpatient surgery center, enabling seamless coordination for cataract and other surgical procedures. The clinic features modern diagnostic technology, dedicated ophthalmic support staff, and an onsite retail optical shop to enhance continuity of care. Collaboration with optometry colleagues and access to outreach services further expand the clinic’s regional impact and referral network.
