What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant | Surgery position at CentraCare?
Join the CentraCare team as a Nursing Assistant in General Surgery located at the River Campus Clinic and St. Cloud Hospital. As a Nursing Assistant you will assist providers with clinic procedures, assist the care team with routine tasks including stocking rooms, managing paperwork, and inventory support. A nursing assistant also supports patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care tasks and is responsible for assisting the patient care team in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures and unit standards to provide quality patient care.
Schedule
- Casual | Minimum of 1 shift per month | St. Cloud
- Day shift | 8-hour shifts | 8am- 4:30pm
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $18.40 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $18.40 - $27.61 per hour

Requirements:
- Proof of successful completion of a nursing assistant course OR experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant or Health/Hospice Aide.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
