Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Health Unit Coordinator team member in the Neuroscience/Spine Unit! As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.
Schedule
- Part-time | 24-56 hours every two weeks
- Rotating shifts 7am-5:30pm and 9am-3:30pm
- Will be scheduled every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) and rotating holidays
- Onsite | St. Cloud Hospital
Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $17.00-$25.54 per hour
- Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred.
- Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
