The University of Minnesota/CentraCare St. Cloud Family Medicine Residency program is seeking a Part-Time Outpatient Faculty Physician who enjoys teaching residents in a collaborative, ambulatory care environment. Schedule
- FTE: 0.1 to 0.2 (2 to 4 days a month) | Onsite at CentraCare- Family Health Clinic
- Ambulatory Focus: Supervise and teach residents in our residency program’s family medicine clinic.
- Precepting Residents: Engage in teaching and guiding residents during their clinic sessions, helping them develop strong skills in continuity care and primary care management.
- Flexible Clinical Practice: Maintain your own clinical practice elsewhere or join CentraCare clinics.
- Optional Opportunities: May include inpatient and/or maternity call, if desired.
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay for a 0.1 FTE begins at $32,213.10 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Salary range: $28,500-31,000
- Salary and salary range are based on a 0.1 FTE, reduced/increased FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Required:
BE/BC in Family Medicine
Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
Experience as a Family Medicine Physician
Department Information
This fully accredited, community-based Family Medicine residency program has been training physicians since 1996 and offers a strong emphasis on full-spectrum family medicine, including inpatient, outpatient, and maternity care. The program supports 18 residents in a 6-6-6 model and fosters a collaborative, supportive learning environment led by a well-rounded faculty. Residents and faculty work within a state-of-the-art hospital and outpatient clinic and benefit from academic collaboration with the Willmar Rural Family Medicine Training Program and the University of Minnesota Medical School – St. Cloud campus. Call responsibilities are shared across the team at approximately 1:8, and physicians with a DO background are strongly encouraged to apply.
