What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishroom Associate | Hospital position at CentraCare?
Help support exceptional patient care from behind the scenes. As a Dishwasher with CentraCare's Nutrition Services team, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment that supports patients, visitors, and staff.
You'll be responsible for sanitizing dishware and kitchen equipment, assisting in the plating of food for patient services, ensuring compliance with food safety and infection prevention standards, and supporting daily nutrition operations. Every shift contributes to delivering high-quality meals and creating a positive experience for those we serve.
Schedule
- ✅72 hours every two weeks
✅ Day Shift | (both) 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM and 11 AM to 8:30 PM Shifts
✅ Every other weekend rotation
✅ Rotating holidays
Pay
- Starting pay begins at $16.69 per hour and increases with experience
- Full Pay range: $14.85 - $22.24 per hour
- Earn extra for weekend and holiday shifts

What You'll Do
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with preparing and plating meals for patients
- Support the catering team as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Work alongside a supportive team dedicated to serving patients
What We're Looking For
- Prior Experience - Dish Room, Kitchen work in a Restaurant or HealthCare setting.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Food service experience is helpful but not required – we’re happy to train the right candidate!
