Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! Position will work between Southway Lab, Sartell Lab and Northway Lab.
What you’ll do:
- Collect blood samples from the patient
- Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
- Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up
Schedule:
- Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks
- Monday and Friday plus additional floating day
- Rotating shifts between 6:45am-3:45pm, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 8:15am-5:15pm; 8:30am-5:30pm
Pay and Benefits:

Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hour

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
