STORE WAREHOUSE DELIVERY PT

Position Summary:  It is the primary responsibility of this role to prepare and deliver products to our customers, provide general yard and warehouse assistance and other location maintenance as needed.

Essential Functions: (The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following)

• Successfully and safely load customer orders and complete store deliveries
• Accurately and efficiently unload and store incoming inventory, to include forklift operation when appropriate
• Always maintain a neat and orderly warehouse, store and parking lot
• Store Inventory, merchandising and stocking
• Provide superior customer service and resolve customer complaints efficiently
• Ensure inventory accuracy of incoming products and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate delivery records using POS system
• Provide backup for store staff as needed
• Demonstrate a commitment to doing what is right, a solid work ethic, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for agriculture, and genuine respect for others
• Model and teach safe behavior while enforcing all safety policies
• Observe and enforce all company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Duties Vary Based On Store Location:

• Assist with incoming phone call and mail
• When needed assist with all opening and closing responsibilities
• Assist with maintaining accurate sales records, invoicing, product receipts and payments
• When needed practice customer focus selling, including product benefits, and recommendations
• Help assist in training in new staff
• Fill propane tanks when needed. (Little Falls, MN Only)
• May require CDL for applicable deliveries (Little Falls, MN Only)

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
•    High school graduate or GED equivalent
•    Strong team player with listening and verbal communication skills, inspires trust and respect
•    Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with staff, customers and the community
•    Commitment to excellence and high standards in terms of providing outstanding customer service
•    Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment 
•    Resourceful, self-starter with good independent, ethical, decision-making ability
•    Excellent organizational skills, accurate and thorough with a commitment to accountability
•    Understands and actively works with basic math skills
•    Some computer skills with the ability to learn key operational computer programs
•    Must Comply with current driver qualification requirements and our Drug and Alcohol Policy
•    Must maintain fork-lift certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Previous retail or warehouse experience
•    Exhibits product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: livestock or equine products, lawn and garden supplies, fencing, pet feeds and supplies or any related knowledge pertaining to our product mix

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may routinely use a computer and cell phone. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking and hearing.  Vision abilities required include close, distance and the ability to adjust focus. Regular climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 60 lbs. Working at this facility entails continuous exposure to dirt, dust, dampness, airborne particles, extreme weather conditions and temperatures, heavy equipment and moderate noise levels, and other attributes common to such sites.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including grain dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The employee is exposed to extreme weather conditions and temperatures.  The noise level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job inside the store, the employee is frequently exposed to normal working conditions for a store environment with a noise level that is usually low to moderate.
