We are seeking a Feed Driver to join our feed operations team at our Albany Feed Mill. This role offers a mix of driving, customer interaction, and operational support – perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a strong team.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver feed products accurately and efficiently according to customer and company standards.
- Verify and complete sales tickets, invoices, and related paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain positive customer relationships during deliveries and communicate safe storage and handling procedures.
- Develop and follow efficient routing, loading, and unloading practices.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Support feed operations and serve as backup for other team members as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL and DOT medical certification must meet Centra Sota’s driver qualification requirements and Drug & Alcohol Policy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Customer-service mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Prior agricultural or feed experience preferred.
