Location: Little Falls, Minnesota
Centra Sota Cooperative’s vision is to improve lives and create a more vibrant future for farmers, families, and communities in Central MN. We are seeking an Associate Feed Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our livestock customers by learning feed solutions, building customer relationships, assisting with on-farm visits, and gaining hands-on experience in sales and product knowledge. If you enjoy working with producers, being part of a collaborative team, and growing your career in animal nutrition, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact in local agriculture.
What You’ll Do
- Support feed sales by helping with customer visits, sales calls, and learning livestock nutrition basics.
- Build relationships with producers through on-farm visits and great customer service.
- Help place orders, coordinate deliveries, and make sure customers get the right products.
- Take part in trainings and ride-alongs to learn feed products and sales skills.
- Assist the team and help with store or mill tasks as needed, following all safety and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2-year college degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and solid customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate feed solutions.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and stay detail-oriented.
