Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced School Psychologist that is certified in the state of practice.
- This is a PERMANENT, full time position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral part of the school community and the driver of student support and social-emotional learning (SEL)
- Oversee impressive individualized growth for students who struggle with emotion regulation, social perspective taking, social problem-solving or self control, with the support and guidance of school leadership, experienced network staff, and expert consultants
- Utilize your passion for SEL to create innovative and impactful curriculum, coach teachers on effective execution, and ensure school-wide immersion of all of SEL program components
- Build strong relationships with students and families and lead the school's initiative to ensure students develop and display Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity and Community, our “EPIC” values, driving for strong school culture
- Work closely with the Student Achievement Team and the Committee on Special Education to identify and support students with disabilities
- Serve as an important part of the Response to Intervention (RtI) Team
- Conduct all monolingual psycho-educational assessments, ensuring each student receives appropriate, targeted, and effective support
- Communicate often with other school psychologists and network staff, consulting on challenging cases and completing SEL and student support-specific professional development
Minimum Requirements include:
- To achieve our vision, we are searching for New York State certified School Psychologists with a Master's degree or a Ph.D. in School Psychology, and a proven record of successfully supporting students in crisis and propelling student growth and achievement.
- New graduates from School Psychology Master’s/Doctoral programs are welcome
- Early-career School Psychologists with 0–5 years of experience are preferred

This role currently has immediate openings at our Bronx and Manhattan locations, as well as opportunities for the 2025-26 school year, starting on July 28, 2025. Summer professional development begins for staff in mid-July, and students start the school year in mid-August. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $107,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience in a full-time School Psychologist role and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales.
