In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment. You will develop and implement individualized behavior plans, provide training and coaching to school staff, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in behavioral analysis and support.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate behavioral supports into daily instruction and activities
- Provide training and coaching to school staff on behavioral strategies and crisis intervention techniques
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in behavioral analysis and support
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and behavior
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviors in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
