What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer (Full-time) position at CENTRA DEFENSE SECURITY?
Our security personnel primarily consist of men and women who are either former United States military or in local and state law enforcement; or who are still currently serving. Our trained and certified security personnel have been pre-screened using the strictest standards and requirements to ensure our guards are adhering to the highest levels of integrity and ethics. Each potential guard must:
- Be at least 18 years of age with a clean criminal history.
- Have a valid Driver's license.
- Be able to pass a drug test.
- Be able to pass a background investigation.
Each employee is re-screened on a yearly basis and we conduct random drug and alcohol screenings.
Once a candidate has passed our hiring standards, we continue to increase their professionalism and readiness through industry-leading training that includes:
- Firearms training
- Defensive tactics
- Subject control
- Use of force
- Patrol operations
- Responsibilities with EMS & Fire

Centra Defense is looking to expand.
We are looking to hire in our Ashville, Ohio site, the description is below.
Construction site security throughout company hours:
- Make sure only authorized personnel or visitors enter the site
- Inspect automobiles going into or going out the site
- Screen video surveillance equipment and react to alarms properly
Construction security outside business hours:
- Regular, staggered patrols of the exterior fence
- Routine, staggered patrols of the interior of the site
- Display video surveillance devices and respond to alarms appropriately
- Monitor all points of entry
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
